OVERVIEW

Growing one’s wealth goes beyond just having the knowledge and the access to different financial instruments that are available. A person must be able to manage income, debt and risks well as these could spell the difference between reaching financial freedom.

This practical talk will nudge the audience to break barriers that are holding them broke.

Every individual working in different corporations of today are receiving a form of compensation for the skills and service they provide for a company. This income that they receive does create an impact in improving one’s financial standing.

Looking at recent studies on financial literacy, it shows that people are generally confident in how they handle their finances. Two out of ten people actually claim to be an expert, but in reality, only one out of ten individuals actually pass the financial literacy exam.

Through this program, an employee would:

a) Know the different barriers that limits him or her from going to the next level and the same time be able to form a strong financially independent mindset which is critical to overcome each barrier.

b) Learn how to visualize the big picture of their current financial status and realize which direction they have to take to further improve their standing. It is important for a person to know where they are right now and where they want to see themselves to be able to map out a plan and avoid additional unnecessary roadblocks.

c) Appreciate the importance of having safety nets to maintain a specific level of comfort and security while building and accumulating wealth. Dealing with undesirable events could eventually happen along the way but if an individual is able to prepare for the unexpected, the unexpected will no longer be a problem.

d) Learn the importance of understanding how different financial instruments work and the possible impact of choosing the wrong vehicle. An individual should be able to determine which one is the perfect match for him or herself.
